Mowgli

Jungle and Drum and Bass. Mowgli has been a part of the Mid-West rave/party/club scene since the late 80's. This is after an era knee-deep in the hip-hop culture throughout the 80's, breakdancing and seeing early hip-hop shows. In 1995, he and his friends, DJ Xian, DJ D.Clark, DJ Braidey, Dj Melloman, and DJ Troll(who has been a big mentor to him), began to throw their own parties. A party called Moist hosted the likes of Mark Farina and Phantom 45. Even though it lost money, it is still revered as a good party. The Cincinnati Bomb Squad was now in full motherfucking effect. Xian as the head of financial backings and the rest of the DJ's helping with bookings, and promoting, this combination led CBS into the books for holding the Cincinnati scene down. Since its inception, they started as just a group of friends who just wanted to crash parties and strongarm them into getting us onto guestlists. They now have thrown tons of huge parties that are still talked about to this day. D.Clark and Mowgli coined the name after a night of 'bombing.' D.Clark now resides in San Diego, and DJ Braidey hid a lifestyle of drug abuse from us, until one night he flipped out and left the scene and his DJ life behind. Granted, he is now living a seperate 'cleaner' life away from the hectic rave scene. Yes, as CBS, they've witnessed alot, and have gone through alot of tribulations and trials. CBS is still together and kicking as friends and DJs.

In over a decade of dedicating his life to DJing Drum & Bass and Jungle, he has held his ground as a forefather of the sound in the Mid-West. Along with Troll, they have been the epitome of excellent DJ's with proper knowledge and attitude. As of recently, Mowgli has gone back to playing drums and sampling loops. He has equipped artists such as A-Sides(Eastside/Fuze/Metalheads), Dylan & Facs(Biotic/XXX/OutBreak), MK2(M.A.D.Bass), and Boombip(Mush/Lex) with these drum breaks.
