Franz'n'shape + Andrea Doria
Andrea Doria is 29 years old and lives in Ravenna (famous for its Roman mosaics), close to Bologna in Italy. Andrea was born in the 1974, age of historical and, musically speaking, innovative social revolutions. At the tender age of 8 years his father buys him his first analog synth and since then he understands that this sound is going to be part of his DNA. When he's 16, he begins to develope a passion for computers and he becomes a programmer. At the arrival of the first 8/16bit computers he starts earning a living composing soundtracks for videogames, and also for some Italian software companies, simply using the synth processors (SID/Commodore64) and language machine. Therefore Andrea's artistic knowledge develope's with a powerful inclination for electronic music, strongly influenced by some eclectic artists from the seventies like Klaus Schulze, Richard Wahnfried, Chris & Cosey and Edgar Frose. In the 90's he is completely blown away by the house scene and decides to start DJing full time. He was fascinated by the way these dj's alchemists used to mix sounds and cultures at the same time and always created interest in thousands of people. The continuous research in new musical worlds to explore, brings him to meet italian producer Dino Lenny which was already based in the UK. In the december of the 2003 he build his own record label: "READY TO ROCK MUSIC".
